How This Site Earns Money
Desk Wellness Lab is a participant in several affiliate advertising programs, including the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. These programs provide a means for this site to earn advertising fees by linking to products on retailer websites.
In plain English: When you click on a product link on this site and make a purchase, I may receive a small commission. This comes at absolutely no extra cost to you — the price you pay is the same whether you use my link or go directly to the retailer.
What This Means for My Reviews
Nothing. Affiliate relationships do not influence my product recommendations, ratings, or opinions. Here’s my commitment:
I review products based on merit. If a product is great, I’ll recommend it regardless of whether an affiliate program exists for it. If a product is mediocre or bad, no commission rate will make me recommend it.
I disclose affiliate links clearly. Product review posts on this site include a disclosure notice near the top so you always know when affiliate links are present.
My clinical recommendations are independent. As a licensed optometrist, my healthcare-related advice (monitor distances, screen positioning, lighting, eye health tips) is based on clinical evidence and professional experience — never on commercial relationships.
I’ll tell you when something isn’t worth buying. Not every product in a category is worth your money. I’d rather lose a potential commission than lose your trust.
